Being you is your Superpower

Most leadership advice for women is built on a hollow foundation. We are told to “fake it until we make it,” to lean in, or to simply be more assertive. But if you are a high-achieving woman navigating the complexities of senior leadership, you know that these platitudes don’t work when you are standing in a boardroom facing a surge of imposter syndrome.

This space is different.

I am Jennifer Cowley, and I help professional women dismantle the internal glass ceiling. My mission is to empower you to understand your unique leadership qualities, embrace the inevitability of failure, and achieve your most ambitious career goals without the crushing weight of perfectionism.

After 20 years working in the construction, NFP, ecommerce and public sectors I have learnt a lot about the difficult journey of leadership. I have worked directly alongside some of the best (and worst) leaders in the Australian Public Service, built my own ecommerce business and coached women to rise above their imposter syndrome to reach goals they never thought they were ready for.

What We Explore Together

Confidence and good leadership come from within. They are built by learning from mistakes and accepting that perfection is an unattainable, and often counterproductive, goal. Here, we trade the exhaustion of performing for the power of presence.

Every article and resource I add to this library is designed to move the needle on your influence. We focus on core pillars that address the real-world friction of leadership:

  • Identifying Confidence Blocks: Pinpointing the fears and internal barriers that keep you playing small.

  • Discovering Your Unique Value: Shifting the focus from what you lack to the specific strengths only you bring to the table.

  • Building Leadership Confidence: Developing an internal self-assurance that does not fluctuate with external praise.

  • Cultivating Resilient Leadership: Managing setbacks with grace and maintaining performance when the stakes are high.

  • Expanding Leadership Influence: Growing your impact within your organisation and across your industry.

My Philosophy: Frank and Fearless

I don’t believe in “fluff” or empty compliments. As your coach, I am here to be frank and fearless. If a strategy isn’t working, we look at why. If a thought pattern is holding you back, we address it directly. This is a conversion-focused space, designed to turn your potential into tangible professional outcomes.

Whether you are here to overcome imposter syndrome, navigate a promotion, or simply find a more authentic way to lead, you are in the right place.

At Peak Women, we’re more than just a fashion brand. We’re a movement wrapped in bold prints, smart tailoring, and serious substance: helping ambitious, professional women unlock their power through the psychology of clothing. Because how you dress is all about you.

At Peak Women we believe that clothing can be a tool for change. Recent research into the psychology of clothing supports this belief. Studies show that what we wear can influence everything from our posture to our performance, known as 'enclothed cognition'. It's not just about looking good, it's about feeling different in your body, your energy, your outlook because what we wear communicates something back to us, not just to the world."
